Thank you for your interest in learning to shoot at FirearmTraining.info. Chief Instructor, Tony Cavallaro, has been teaching Connecticut residents how to safely and properly shoot pistols and shotguns for over 25 years. Tony is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor as well as a State of Connecticut Conservation Education and Firearms Safety instructor and Range Officer.

There is no better time than now to take a course and learn to shoot. The classes offered will use the NRA's "Total Participation Involvement" instructional method, and will employ hands-on classroom training aids and multimedia presentations. All firearms, ammunition, hearing protection and eye protection are provided by the instructor.

Training Compliance - The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course meets the training requirements for a pistol application in Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Florida, New York, etc. Live firing is conducted for all classes as per National Rifle Association guidelines.

Classes are typically made up of six or less students. Private courses are also available upon request, and are priced accordingly. Pre-registration is required for all courses. See the Schedule page for current dates and payment/registration methods. Please contact me if you have any questions.

When you've finished your course, not only will you have learned the basics, you will be on your way to pursuing a lifetime of shooting. By joining one of the nearly 10,000 NRA-affiliated clubs located across the U.S., you can meet people who share your interest, and make lasting friendships.

Classes will be held at Guilford Sportsmen's Association or Branford Yacht Club and live fire will be conducted at either Guilford Sportsmen's Association in Guilford, CT, Branford Gun Club in Branford, CT or at Delta Arsenal in Wallingford, CT.
